Jesus ‘n’ Mo ‘n’ Ganesha

My favorite Hindu god, the beloved elephant-headed Ganesha (I have a big collection of bronze Ganesha statues acquired during my many trips to India) appears in today’s Jesus and Mo strip, called “hose.” Remember that in last week’s strip Ganesh appeared as an example of religious discrimination via the Hindu caste system.

Now a Hindu god walks into a bar and. . . . .

    1. The barmaid has obviously heard about what happens when elephants eat too many wind-fall plums/ mangoes/ apples etc.

      Hint : it doesn’t end well for anything the elephant decides to scratch it’s arse against.

      But … Don’t I remember the body under that elephant mask from a previous episode? This is Mo’s Body-Double posing as Ganesha. For some profoundly theological reason, I’m sure.

  1. I’m sikhened that Nimrata Randhawa hasn’t adopted Ganesha as the mascot / icon of her campaign. That said, this probably doesn’t help her win the Evangelical vote.
