Today we have a Friday Flashback fist published 20 years ago (!) The artist notes, “Bad pun. Sorry!”
The theological conundrum here is real, but of course theologians have weaseled their way to an answer (see here, for example). Mo tacitly admits, though, that there’s something to determinism.
Today’s Jesus and Mo strip, called “ground,” came with the note, “The boys are having another go at the X-Factor”. (The X Factor is a UK franchise for a talent competition. Mo is still on his Islamophobia kick, and still a hypocrite.
There’s a new Jesus and Mo strip today called “submit”. It came with a caption: “No, Jesus. We don’t.” The Divine Duo argues about which faith is more woman-friendly, and then Mo gives what he thinks is the killer argument for Islamic feminism.
The artist adds this:

Do throw some dosh the artist’s way in appreciation of his/her artistic critiques of religion.
The Jesus and Mo artist sent out a Friday Flashback cartoon from 14 years ago. The strip is called “judge”. And yes, I’ve read the Qur’an, but since it was in translation, I can be accused of not appreciating its beauty. All I can say is that it’s full of the usual scary religious palaver, including murder, damnation of apostates and nonbelievers, wife-beating, and the like. It goes down better with a Guinness, though!
As always, the sassy barmaid gets the better of Mo.
Today’s Jesus and Mo strip, called “aspects,” came with a note: “Thankfully, that Anti-Muslim Hostility Tsar seems to be taking his time arriving.”
Yes, the British Government was going to appoint a “tsar” to oversee and police anti-Muslim hostility, but the position remains unfilled. The Muslim Council of Britain is complaining (their bolding):
The Muslim Council of Britain has written to Steve Reed, the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on the government’s prolonged delay in appointing the Special Representative on Anti-Muslim Hostility which was promised when they launched the Protecting What Matters Social Cohesion Strategy exactly three months ago on 8th March 2026. Despite this, the pledged role of a tsar or Special Representative on Anti-Muslim Hostility to date remains entirely unfilled, with no clear Terms of Reference, no allocated budget and no transparent path forward.
The British Muslim community continues to face a widening climate of discrimination, hostility and threats to physical safety. Since March 2026 alone, notable anti-Muslim incidents across the UK have occurred on average at least once a week which the Muslim Council of Britain which are outlined in the letter which can be read below.
This is based on the UK Government’s new definition of anti-Muslim hostility, a definition that Britain’s Free Speech Union has characterized as leading to “hostility and self-censorship”. The FSU is mounting a legal challenge against this definition and has a fundraiser.
In the strip, Mo gets offended when Jesus points out the obvious:
Today’s Jesus and Mo is a Friday flashback from 11 years ago called “here“. The caption is relevant: “cracked this one out just over 11 years ago.” Mo doesn’t hear Jesus’s diatribe because he’s “praying” in the loo.
And the analogy isn’t that bad.
The new Jesus and Mo strip, called “wings,” came with the caption, “If it’s not normal, we’re against it.”
Both of the Divine Duo apparently have problems with naturalism, as they conflate the supernatural with the infrequent.
