So true… but religious and political believers ‘know’ that they are right therefore everyone else is wrong and so their opinions don’t count (or are evil). Luckily for us there are many religions and sects within each religion, plus many political ideologies and ‘wings’ within each ideology so we can blunt the pressure on public opinion to conform by pointing out the many, many, alternatives.
