I keep a beat-up and barely functional Panasonic Lumix at home just in case the skyline of Chicago presents a lovely view. Here are three that I’ve taken recently:
Looks like you get a pretty good view of the Chicago area. How far up do you reside? Only time I lived at any altitude was on the 7th floor of a nine story building in Okinawa.
The Panasonic Lumix series is awesome. I’m presently on my second TZ100 (damaged first taking it to the beach) and it’s by far the best compact I’ve ever owned.

I miss Chicago…except in the deep winter, of course. Still, even then, it’s such a beautiful city.
