Reader Leo Glenn sent a puzzler and some notes:
Here’s a photo taken last May in Yellowstone National Park of a Yellow-bellied Marmot (Marmota flaviventris). I would give it an easy-to-moderate difficulty rating. Can you spot the marmot? The answer at 11 a.m. Chicago time. Click photo to enlarge:

Easy to find once you blow up the pic. Didn’t need my magnifying glass for once.
I see the marmot!
Got.
Found it. I think, it may just be an odd shaped rock.
thanks for the easy one. I’ve salvaged my self respect.
Found it! Assuming it’s a marmot that I see. I have no idea what it’s supposed to look like.
Easy one. Perhaps because I’ve spotted many marmots in my day.
Does this mean I get six more weeks of summer?
I didn’t find it easy, like say, the crabs or toads, moderately difficult, immo. Took me 10-15 minutes of scanning, but at least I found it in the end, unlike those terrible katydids.
Found it quite quickly, for once.
Got the little bugger.
