I don’t like Tuesdays, though given my schedule there’s no reason why I should dislike them more than any other day. But I’ll lift my spirits by showing a cat picture and a cat cartoon.
First is a picture I got from Matthew in an email titled “Cat peace.” It shows his new kitten (Harry) finally getting along with the “senior” cats Ollie and Pepper:
And here is a good cartoon I found on Facebook; it appears to be by Australian cartoonist Tim Whyatt:

Winter, our big white belly-rub loving cat, just had a broken cuspid removed yesterday. Given that he is 15 yrs old, the GA is not without risk, but he survived without having to get his ticket punched.
Wow, Harry looks like he’s grown since last week’s photo!
The punch card is wonderful.
The punch card is wonderful!!!
Yes, indeed!
whyatt’s drawing style is strongly reminiscent of Gary Larson, isn’t it?
Sure is!
That looks like the cat bed to me. Wonder if the people sleep on the floor?
It’s a perfect cat bed. Lots of room to move around, claim territory, sleep in various positions. Perhaps the people have some similar arrangement in another room–or as you say, on the floor.
Looks like the cats are doing some reading or at least one cat is.

Cats in space, sort of.
Did they develop a zero-G litter box? It’s an interesting design challenge to contemplate.
I don’t think I have a least favorite day of the week, although Monday is probably closest to balance in the pros vs cons – still a an overall pro though.
Harry is really cute. I’m glad Ollie and Pepper are being nice to him now.
Harry is doing well! Xhimi, our senior cat, has still not totally accepted Mikey and Bella, three year old rescue litter mates, who were introduced into the household some nine months ago.
Xhimi also takes his aggression out on me, and I am sporting scratches and bites incurred while quietly stroking him a couple of days ago.
Had I known that one of Harry’s senior cats is called Pepper, I would have suggested ‘salt’ as an appropriate name.
Xhimi, BTW, means cat in Tibetan.
