Oy, now we’re spotting d*gs! Reader Florian sent in this picture with the note:
I have a somewhat similar image to the spot-the-cat picture. Can you spot my d*g Eddie in this image taken in my backyard?
This is not as hard as the spot-the-cat picture of yesterday, but it’s still not easy. I’ve put up a big version so you can’t beef about the low resolution:

Pool?
No fair dyeing the mutt green!
Sitting on the roof of the far house?
That’s what I thought too! On the reddish roof.
It would be the perfect place for a d*g to hide.
I think he’s in the right far corner of the pool.
That was my thought too. But I didn’t realise it was a pool until I looked closer. I thought it was just another area of grass.
On the pool table, 8-ball, back right rear corner pocket ; )
Shouldn’t it be bitch about digs, rather than beef🐸
Roof! Roof! Roof!
“Northeast” corner of pool. But it looks more like an aardvark than a Jack Russell.
I believe that I see his paws sticking out from behind the bush on the right side of the picture, near the closest right corner of the pool…
Though I wonder what is on the tile roof of the house in the background, I think you may be right but of what value is mention of the breed if all we can see are the dog’s paws? Well, at least the white paws are consistent with Jack Russell terriers.
I like nightjars better Nightjars come by their invisibility honestly; they don’t have to rely on low resolution or darkness to hide in plain sight. More nightjars!
I see his nose and paws protruding from behind a bush on the right.
ears, right hand corner of the pool, um to obvious.. at the top of the ladder is my pick.
Isn’t spot a rather unimaginative name for a d*g?
It’s a Jack Russell. They’re all called Spot, by law.
Good to see a turd-free lawn.
