Hili is making threats! What has gotten into her?
Hili: I am a tiger in the jungle.
A: A fitting tiger for such a jungle.
Hili: I will bite you later on.

Hili: Jestem tygrysem w dżungli.
Ja: Jaki tygrys taka dżungla.
Hili: Ugryzę cię później.
Don’t worry, she’s just play-acting. She’s a bit of a Walter Mitty with fur.
This one made me laugh out loud. There’s a trade-off for being a tiger in the jungle: tigers probably don’t get special treats of cream and sausage.
…and, whilst Hili was busy being a tiger in the jungle, Baihu was just a tiger in the desert. Lots of people on the trail today, probably because it’s just about the end of the season. Mid-80s by 10:00 when we made it back to the car. Baihu had been panting for about the last half of the hike. I wetted his coat down soon after he started panting, which definitely helped. I’m going to have to figure out some sort of cryogenic bodysuit for the both of us if we’re going to keep this up much longer….
