Happy Monday! For those of you who dread going back to work, my condolences, but here’s Poland’s favorite cat to cheer you up. And, apparently, she’s learned to read!
Hili: To read or to go for a walk, that is the question.
A: You can read in the garden under the apple tree.
In Polish:
Hili: Poczytać, czy iść na spacer, oto jest pytanie?
Ja: Możesz poczytać w ogrodzie pod jabłonką.

If you aren’t rejuvenated from a day off on Sunday and dread going to back to work on Monday, you need to find another job.
You gotta be kidding.
Like that`s a real option for many people who dread either a boring career or a bad work environment…or both.
Looking at the book, presumably the Arab Lobby is the next room to the Arab front door?
Sorry!
from a Word A Day:
A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
There is a rumor going around that I have found God. I think this is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist. -Terry Pratchett, novelist (b. 1948)
Anu posts great quotes, and a significant number lean agnostic/atheist. 🙂
I love this! I think Hili and I are soul mates. I’m often faced with that predicament. Thank goodness for treadmills, but it can measure up to being outdoors in the warm sunshine!
*can’t measure up* (crappy start to Monday)
If one is fortunate whilst reading under an apple tree, one might even have the opportunity to independently verify Newton’s observation — and simultaneously be rewarded with a tasty snack!
…well, okay, a cat might not find it so tasty, but still….
