  1. It is definitely a three-mammal game. Much like how when humans try to play frisbee, and it becomes a human + canine game. Mammals are better when they play together.

  2. Definitely a three-mammal game. They are very clearly involving the cat intentioally, hitting it to him/her a bunch of times.

  3. Looks like the net was getting punished for holding Oreo away from the ball.
    Bad net!

  4. My family has had few games of croquet in which the d_gs got involved. They couldn’t carry the balls very far, but they did change the dynamics.

      1. A d_g frustrated by the statue of Alan Turing holding an apple.

We laugh, of course. That’s not actually a person, that isn’t even a ball, but, even in Laguna Beach, something that looks like a human sitting on a bench is more likely than not to be breathing, and the pose is pretty provocative. The d_g’s response isn’t entirely unreasonable.

  5. Poah kitteh kernackered at endz!
I’m almost tempted to, somehow, find a lionling or a tiggerlet (not sure if they’re the correct terms), and take it to womble the lost balls at Wimbledon. “Lion stopped play” is probably a rule that the Lawn Tennis Association (or whoever) haven’t had to call on outside Africa before.

    1. I think the lion might find the motion of the players much more interesting to pounce on than that of the ball :-0

If you want tennis balls fetched you need a d-g.

  6. What game? I see an animal honing its killing skills. That kitten’s going to grow up into a fine mouser. If it goes outdoor it’ll probably get birds, squirrels, and all sorts of other things to supplement its diet of tinned food.
