We all know what Hili means by “a little something.”
Hili: What time is it?
A: Why do you ask.
Hili: It may be time for a little something.
In Polish:
Hili: Która jest godzina?
Ja: Dlaczego pytasz?
Hili: Bo może jest czas na małe conieco.

“A little something” is best taken at eleven o’ clock in the morning. Honey and condensed milk on bread, without the bread.
A little something, something for Hili!
Any awake time is a good time for a sweet cat. However I was not very happy with mine last night when she woke me up at 2:30 AM by scratching at my bed skirt, followed by pouncing on my feet, scratching incessantly at my door then knocking down a set of curtains thus changing the curtain rod into an unattractive U shape. Sigh.
Curiously enough, last night wasn’t an ideal cat night for me, either. Some outside cats started yowling at about 3:30, and I think Baihu might have joined in the chorus. I had had all the doors open (with security doors shut, of course), and had to get up and close them to shut out the sound.
Sigh, indeed….

I feel your pain.
Ah, sounds as if the adoption’s going swimmingly, then.
How did you ever get along without her? 😀
Haha! No one warned me that she was a late night Party Animal 🙂
