  1. Who trusted Man was love indeed
    And love Society’s final law
Cat Nature, red in tooth and claw
With ravine, obey’d this ancient creed

    [With apologies to Tennyson]

  2. Perhaps Fitness is the feline Hercules Poirot, and that is why Hili cannot abide him observing her 🙂

  3. Go Hili. 🙂

On another note, I am now the proud owner of a black forrest cat that I picked up at our local shelter.

I still don’t know what to call him, so any suggestions anyone?

    1. How about Licorice, Ebony, Kuro (black in Japanese), or Ninja (our late cat was called Ninja; she lived to a ripe old age, but we still miss her, snif….)

PS: well done for getting not only a rescue cat, but also a black one, which I gather are the least popular.

      1. Thanks Sheila. It was a no brainer and he’s already settled in on the sofa. It’s my first cat, but so far no problems whatsoever and I’m thoroughly enjoying my little mate.

Thanks for the indoctrination prof. ceiling cat. 🙂

          1. My nephew and niece got to decide and they named him Monty, so Monty it is. 🙂

I’ll mail Jerry some pics soon…

  4. Kind of OT but it’s about felids.

Does anyone know what’s going on in this cat video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbBlYfTbA44

It’s basically two cats fighting while two crows are watching and something trying to piss off the cats. Makes me wonder, what’s the motivation behind the actions of the two crows??

    1. Seems to me they’re trying to rid themselves of an invasive species. Maybe a nest nearby? It was unclear whether this was on a rooftop or parking lot.
