Jesus ‘n’ Mo ‘n’ art

In the new Jesus and Mo post, “draw,” Mo draws a self-portrait. Apparently, though pictures of Mohammed are prohibited by nearly all Muslim sects, that prohibition doesn’t hold for Mo himself.  He seems to have a bit of a gut, doubtlessly from drinking too many pints with Jesus at the local bar.  There’s also this note:

  1. OMG this is laser-accurate – “provocation” is in fact a ritual of Leftist activism, as are “problematics” and a culture of disrespect, it is true –

    BUT

that doesn’t mean there is NEVER a thing that, through simple promotion, is shown in fact to fail to stand (pun intended!) on its own.

A true Leftist “provocation” is designed for the enemy target to over-react and escalate the conflict (Beautiful Trouble, Saul Alinsky) on TV and media.

Clearly, no one needs to react to drawing pictures of plain human figures, – especially so ripped a specimen as Mo.

    That says it all, IMHO.

  2. They will be offended. Well, maybe if theism no longer an effective sword and buckler, they should give Stoicism a try.

We use mockery and satire to show the world that that which used to be terrifying no longer has any power over us. Get used to it!
