UPDATE: I thin this issue is fixed now. Let me know if you encounter any further problems.
Some readers, including me, have reporting getting a “time out” message, a 429 saying “too many requests made in a short period of time.” If you can’t access the site or leave a comment because of this, try again immediately, or wait a bit.
I have asked y tech person to look into this; it doesn’t really seem to be based on time.
I had that message at about 8 am EST.
It disappeared when I refreshed the page

Yup, I got the same error message and it happened again the first time I tried to comment here.
I just got the message.
“You have been rate listed for too many requests” — I can’t quite recall the words.
I did a refresh and it disappeared.

When I click on the headline/link in the email I receive, it takes me to my browser but not to WEIT. I land on a tab already open in the browser.
Me too, when I first tried at about 1.30 GMT. It works fine now (an hour later).
Nope, but I still miss the option to receive all comments on a specific post 🙂
I’m doing my best on that one. I think the 429 error is fixed now, though.

No problem here.
I ran into this first thing this morning. It seems to be resolved now.
Same with me…fixed now. I am astounded that pcc(e) can get such a thing taken care of from over a continent away in rural Poland so quickly..minutes to an hour. Technology taketh away early this morning but then giveth back by mid-morning….with the human intervention, of course, that something was amiss…
It was a server error!
Fine, but server did not know of its error and correct it until a human flipped a bit. I am still impressed with cross Atlantic trouble shooting.

Still an issue. A refresh loaded this page and allows me to comment.
The site is loading quite slowly for me right now, so whatever was wrong is at a minimum not fully resolved yet.
(Also, I just got the “429 Too Many Requests” error while trying to post the comment above)
It came and went twice yesterday; is working ok now.
