Reminder: this evening/afternoon/night, depending on where you live, Richard Dawkins and I will have an hourlong discussion (I envision 45 minutes with 10-15 minutes of questions from the viewers) about Richard’s new book on flight. Readers can type in questions, which will be curated, and I will chose what I think are the good ones. You can get the details by clicking on the screenshot below; the show begins at 6 pm U.S. Eastern time.
And if you can’t make it, a video of the show, sponsored by the Center for Inquiry, will eventually be put on YouTube.
See you there!
I wish a stimulating discussion. 🙂
6pm US Eastern is 11pm BST.
I just listened to the call – it was excellent. Usually they pop up on youtube in a little while but I wanted to listen to this one live. Excellent interviewer and interviewee.

Nice discussion, boss. You and Prof. Dawkins have a pleasing chemistry.
I listened live too. Great stuff! Let’s have more webinars like today’s. Well done to both Professor Dawkins and Professor Coyne for promoting science and rational thinking! Both of them have made a very positive difference to how we see the world in the 21’st century.
Science, free from negative and self-serving politics and based on principles of critical observation, rationalism and falsifiability, could be the best chance we have of creating a better world.

I watched this live last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
