I normally cook a meal like this for Kohaku once a year on his birthday, but since I got a lot of requests to make a food for him, I decided to make this video. I’m going to make meals for human from next time. If you want to make a meal for your cats, please do research on which ingredients are okay to use. Also, make sure not to feed too much nor too often since it’s difficult to make a meal that are nutritious enough for cats. The recipe for this video is below. Thank you for watching! =^・ェ・^=
Salmon
Chicken tender (or chicken breast)
Yellow Fin Tuna
Bonito Stock Soup
Catnip powder1. Boil all the meat and fish for about a minute or two until they’re cooked.
2. Put them in a cold water and cool them down.
3. Chop them into tiny pieces.
4. Put the paste in a round mold (or a cup if you don’t have a mold!)
5. Add bonito stock soup and sprinkle some catnip powder.
I love the way Jun shows Kohaku all the ingredients and preparation. In Jun’s video below, you can see he gives Kohaku lots of experience, taking him shopping in a special cart. Then Kohaku makes human food: sushi balls. Kohaku gets to watch, as he often does in Jun’s food videos. That is one well-cared-for cat!

From LoveMeow we see how two British movie lovers have recreated famous movie scenes with their cats Willow and Tara. Here are a few shots; do you recognize the movies?

Finally, a video compilation of cats getting stuck in things (no cats were harmed in the making of this clip):
h/t: Grania

Alien, American Beauty, The Shining, Ghost. Ghost was a good idea, terrible movie, hilarious picture!
I was wrong about the Alien, I thought the Body Snatchers (which were aliens too, so I wanrt half a poiny).
I was at a loss with Ghost, don’t know the film. 2 and 1/2 out of 4 🙁
Half a point
Alien cat was the funniest!
In Jun’s video, it was the romantic mood lighting that really got me. 😉
The bags and kleenex box dilemmas are funny, but the cords for blinds are extremely dangerous for cats, dogs, and small children. Tie the cords up well out of reach, please!
I marvel at Jun’s knife skills – was that catiseki he was preparing? Nekoseki, perhaps?
We had a cat who was almost killed by getting stuck in a the loop of a window blind cord. We got home to find him unconscious on the floor with the cord around his neck and the blind laying on the floor next to him. We thought he was dead, but by the time we could get to him, he got up. The only thing that saved him was that he managed to pull the whole blind down off the window.
If you have small children or cats, cut those loops.
Oh no! I’m glad your cat was OK. Cutting the loop sounds like the safest strategy, because I imagine most cats could get at the cords even if they were tied up. And of course few cats can leave window blinds alone (I’ve had dogs ruin window blinds in low windows too).
Yes, simply adorable how Jun shows Kohaku each ingredient and lets him (her?) sniff it. Such love and patience!
Kohaku is dearly loved. That one meal probably makes for enough happiness of a lifetime.
I don’t understand why people think it is funny to watch a cat in serious distress. Take that bag off its head for crying out loud.
Most of those cats had their tails straight up, and went right back to the box or bag. Didn’t look too distressed to me; looked like play.

Completely off topic (sorry) but, for anyone that can get it;
Thursday, 29th December, 22.00hrs GMT, BBC2,
“Cunk on Christmas”
Looks like the best thing to watch over the holiday period 🙂
I love the expression on the Cats face as he watches the meals being prepared. Those knives are something else, the Blade look similar to the Katana Blades that have been folded over and over, they are a work of art, those are very expensive Knives.
