Alexandra Petri writes for The Washington Post, and this morning emitted the following tw**t. I don’t know Petri, but she seems to have a good sense of humor, and I issued one of my very rare responses to a tw**t. (You’ll have to go to the post below to see it.)
someone got to my blog yesterday by googling "manxplain" and now I really want a tailless cat who condescendingly lectures you

This was followed, of course, by other tw**ts:

and leaves toilet seat up

and then this:
please keep sending condescending lecture Manx cats
my morning is so great now— Alexandra Petri (@petridishes) June 21, 2016
Readers are, of course, welcome to join the fun. I’m sure Ms. Petri would love it.

Where is your response, Jerry?
Since PCC(E) is now “boots no more”, I wonder what rôle he’ll take in pantomime?
Here.
All in CAPS? Oh no no no no! Or are you being extremely clever in parodying the sort of people who DO write all in CAPS?
It’s part of the joke like an angry SJW.
When a geologist GEOxPLAINs something, we tend to hammer the point home.
Sorry.
I think a manxsplainer should expound on the genetics of the T locus and Brachyury haploinsufficiency … especially on this website!

This post might as well been written in Sanskrit and I wouldn’t understand it less.
I don’t think Sierra is very often guilty of manxplaining, but she has given me years of instruction in manxplaintive — if I’m slow in understanding what she wants she just dials up the volume.
I love Petri. She is actually kind of conservative, IMO. She is one of the very few conservatives whose intentional humor makes me laugh. In fact, I can’t think of anyone else in that category.
I LOLed.
