This appears to be taken in a cat shelter, and is touted as a cat desperately trying to find a Forever Home. I hope that’s the case, and that this eager cat found its staff!

Place looks clean and well equipped, but that looks pretty deranged behaviour, even by cat-on-internet standards. Worryingly deranged.
The poor thing looks desperate to find a way out. I’m not convinced by this.
Or very, very hungry.

Our system for choosing a d*g from a shelter includes the following test, and perhaps it would apply here. Enter the space of your prospective 4-legged friend, and see how they interact with you. If they interact (nicely) with you, then that is a positive. If they ignore you while continually looking for a way out of the room, then that is a negative.
And if they look confused and scratch their ears … they have lice.
Not to mention possible cat ear mites or cat fleas.
I think there may be a good reason that cat’s former owners put him in a shelter.
This is the last thing I’d want to see at my back door. It ain’t commin’ home with me.
