Sid: gato goleiro!

I just got an order from PCC, who is about to board his ‘plane, to post this rather fabulous video of Sid, ‘gato goleiro’, filmed by  Eberti Inacio playing footie (aka soccerball) with Pedro Henrique (Eberti’s son, who does a mean celebratory dance). Jerry also gave me this instruction: “Say something clever!!!!” I can’t think of anything, so here’s Sunday’s challenge: you come up with some smart comments!

  1. That’s the ‘cats squirrel’.. B-) Jethro Tull no idea what it means, it is an instrumental track, so I’ll apply it to all tricky cats.

  2. Jerry also gave me this instruction: “Say something clever!!!!”

    Okay…here goes:

    Something clever!!!!

I can’t think of anything, so here’s Sunday’s challenge: you come up with some smart comments!

Is that, “smart,” as in, “intelligent,” or as in, “smart ass”? Because I’m pretty sure I’ve got the latter covered six ways from Sunday.

If it’s the other kind…well, I seem to be running low at the moment, but I’ll give it a whack anyway.

The sons of the squires of the angels are equal to the squaw of the hippopotamus.

    Claws enough?

  3. To all of our British viewers I would say this Cat is another Gordon Banks. Manchester United better sign him up.

    1. English football fans of a certain vintage might say he has more in common with Peter Bonnetti Aka ‘The Cat’

  4. Just think how much better he’d be with some turf you could get a grip on. That polished floor has got to work against quick footwork. In spite of that, that’s one fine goalie.

  5. While we are in the subject, how about that Luis Suárez? Unstoppable.
Go ahead and make fun of him now.

  6. Pretty sweet.
Extra sweet how the pussycat bounces back off the end of the bed to get the second shot.

  7. Albert Catmus

    1. We have a kitty wand with a puffball at the end of a long elastic string. Our young two go NUTS over it, both jumping and spiraling in the air and occasionally knocking heads. The new thing these kitties do, which none of my previous ones have, is drag the whole wand up and down stairs multiple times in a row. They carry the puffball in their mouths. Hell of a racket on hardwood stsirs with lots of spindles…We try to hide the wand at night.

      1. Ah, so cute and funny! 🙂

Amazing how some cats just love to make noise, and I don’t mean vocally.
