Wednesday: Hili dialogue

April 8, 2015 • 5:28 am

Let me first call your attention to Matthew’s post on feathered dinosaurs, which he accidentally posted early this morning, and which preceded this Hili dialogue.

It’s my last full day in Cambridge, and, sadly, I return to Chicago tomorrow. This afternoon after work I will have drinkers with Pinkers, and then a podcast recording with Sam Harris about my book as soon as I return (to be broadcast in about a month at Albatross Time). Meanwhile in Dobrzyn, Hili is taking credit for The Albatross! And there are an unprecedented two pictures to illustrate the dialogue.

Hili: What are you doing?
A: I’m re-reading the review of Jerry’s new book.
Hili: We wrote that book together.

Awww!  Good times with the Furry Princess of Poland:

In Polish:

Hili: Co robisz?
Ja: Czytam jeszcze raz recenzję z nowej książki Jerrego.
Hili: Pisaliśmy tę książkę razem.

  1. “Matthew’s post on feathered dinosaurs, which he accidentally posted early this morning”

Matthew is quite the early dinosaur, isn’t he?

Can’t say the same about H&J… But awww!

  2. It’s gratifying to see Jerry conked out like that: on a previous visit he posted a picture of himself lying down and working. I cannot do that. If I am horizontal I sleep and if I try to read that way, if and when I wake up there’s a book on my face.

    1. I once hit my face really hard with a large tablet computer I was reading on, when I fell asleep! Ouch!

  3. That second image looks like Jerry is wired for a brain recharge, and Hili is sharing his dreams through mind-meld. Love it.
