A bit of worrying news from Dobrzyn this morning: Cyrus has been taken ill and has been rushed to the vet in Wroclawek. I will provide an update when I get one. Meanwhile, we have our daily dialogue:

my puppy is sending healing thoughts to Cyrus
On behalf of Cyrus, thank you all. Cyrus got a parasite Babesia canis. It is quite dangerous for dogs but it was caught early enough so prognosis is very good. He got a drip and gazillion injections at the vet, next drip will be administer at home and tomorrow we will get further instructions. Hili is not paying any attention to poor weak Cyrus. She seems too preoccupied with thoughts about tomorrow’s debate in New York.

I’m glad the vet diagnosed the problem so quickly & Cyrus has a treatment. Poor thing. I hadn’t even heard of that parasite.
