Thursday: Hili dialogue

January 30, 2014 • 3:40 am

Hili is getting a bit cranky as Editor in Chief, as her staff keeps interrupting her naps with questions.

A: Hili, look at this article. Are we taking it?
Hili: Decide by yourself. If a person cannot delegate she is not fit to run an organization.

Ja: Hili, spójrz na ten artykuł, bierzemy to?
Hili: Podejmij sam decyzję, jak ktoś nie potrafi delegować uprawnień, to znaczy, że nie umie zarządzać firmą.

  1. You want cranky? I have a Crazy Orange Kitty who wants to go out in 2-degree (F) weather. And when I refuse him, he meows, RELENTLESSLY. This a.m. I refuse to give in. It’s just too dangerous to have your animal friends out, at least here in Richmond, Va. Geez Louise, even Virginia BEACH (sic!) is in the single digits.

He’ll have to wait until it’s at least 15. Whine or no whine. Now where’s the wine?

    1. If you let him out surely he’d just turn around and come straight back in, wouldn’t he? When I let the Chairman out at 44C, that’s what he did.

      1. When I let the Chairman out at 44C,

        Western Desert ?
The only place I’ve been that hot was the Abu Dhabi edges of the Rubh’ Al-Khali, the “Empty Quarter” ; not exactly thriving with cat-owned houses.

          1. So … you’ll be hunting for the Australian late Cambrian Burgess-fauna Lagerstatte? To meet and greet your namesakes.

  2. ” O m’darlin’,

    O, m’darlin’,

    O, m’darlin’, Hili – Cat. ”

    Shall we dance ?

Wha’ a lovely, lovely kitteh !
    Blue

  3. I have an almost irresistible inclination to disturb poor Hili by giving a couple little tickles to that tempting soft white furry chest and/or belly. It is a good thing it is only a photo.

Sleep on, o sweet Hili, sleep on. You are far away and safe from me.

      1. My fluffy little kitty is right here too, but if I touch Shirley’s belly she punctures me with her fangs — or tries to. Guaranteed.
