What is it about leather that cats so much love to claw? The back of my armchair, my favourite luxury soft-leather organizer, my best leather handbag, etc., are punctured and ripped beyond belief!
Leather is skin. It’s one of the two things cat claws evolved for.
I love how she doesn’t look even remotely contrite.

WHOSE armchair? Surely it is Hilli’s armchair? Do you not know that EVERYTHING in a cat’s household belongs to that cat? (Or to the cat tribe, if there is more than one cat in the household? And the CATS decide who takes precedence in it?)
Good point. I often answer that I live at my cats’ place when asked if any cats live at my place… 😀
