Who izzit?

June 6, 2013 • 1:05 pm

It’s been a long day,

Long day

so let’s finish with a non-rewarded contest.  Who is the man in the photo below? No reverse Google imaging!

Mystery man

And don’t forget that the “cat beard” contest, whose prize is an autographed book with a cat beard drawn in it, ends at 5 pm CST on June 10.  We have only a handful of entries, so your chance of winning if you take a good picture are substantial.

  1. He was born “sarf of the river guvnr”

THIS is where you can book a v. reasonably priced private tour of his early haunts [link at bottom] if the advertised public one is inconvenient or out of date

  2. I hope the first picture isn’t shown on CBC – it might be considered a bit suggestive.

Actually, I was going to suggest that the second picture was Prof Jerry in his late teens. Shows how little I know.

  3. I had no idea and didn’t intend to answer but, never having done a reverse google image search, I was intrigued. Thanks for introducing me to this technique!

    1. Yeah me too – I had to google what a “reverse google image search was”. I think I’m all technically advanced then I just feel like a luddite sometimes but I learned something new! 😀

  4. Wow… I just felt like this photo was so familiar and Charlie Chaplin popped into my head. So when I came to the comments I was happy to see that others made the same guess. Looks like maybe I haven’t burned out all the brain connections yet. Now where’s that beer?
