This is an amazing shadow dance performed by the renowled Piolobolus Dance Company in Germany. They spell out two words with their bodies, and if you speak German you’ll understand them.
What else can you say except the kids have talent?

What’s the name of the show? “Germany’s got BVDs”?
Ironically: “Unfortunately, this SME music-content is not available in Germany because GEMA has not granted the repective music publishing rights.”
Indeed, it’s gotten simply ludicrous.
A video of a German group posted on an American website and not available in Germany because a German association (GEMA) is unable to come to terms with an American company (Google) over how much the latter has to pay the former – unlike in any other European country (to my knowledge).
Really, this is just bizarre.
Actually I think they are based in Connecticut.
JR – welcher Stadt?
Here is your bit of irony for today. Here in Heidelberg, we get this message for the video:
Leider ist dieses Video, das Musik von SME beinhaltet, in Deutschland nicht verfügbar, da die GEMA die Verlagsrechte hieran nicht eingeräumt hat.
Basically – Sorry, this video that includes music from SME, not available in Germany because GEMA has not granted the publishing rights thereto.
sheesh – however, going straight to YouTube gets around the block.
I should say the block for some, but not all – this one remains blocked in Germany.
I quite agree a truly wonderful visual experience. I am so glad that you posted it,
This is really inspired.
The way the lead dancer seamlessly switches between left-, center-, and right-facing poses while maintaining the dog head illusion is amazing. At first I didn’t see how the ears worked, but then I realized that we only see two ears at once when neither arm is showing.
Wow – that’s the whitest audience I’ve ever seen!
Come now Jerry, you know perfectly well it’s not about talent. It’s about working your ass off for years.
Thanks for the appetizer. Tonight I’m taking my ballet girls to see Baryshnikov perform with the Mark Morris Dance Group at a small 300-seat theater in Seattle. Should be fun!
Personally, I prefer Momix with Pilobolus a close second, but nobody cares what I think anyway.
Way cool.
