Ceiling Cat has conveniently placed Chinatown between the place where I live and the place where I shop for groceries. Ergo, I can haz this for lunch:
Pork bao, glutinous rice with meat and egg in taro leaf, some miscellaneous stuff added for health, and a custard tart for dessert.

“Is that fresh bao?”
I love this! I read part of that Ceiling Cat LOLspeak Bible yesterday (“in teh beginnin Ceiling Cat maded teh skiez An da Urfs”) and giggled when I saw this.
I love how you have a capacity to renew your interests and keep curiousity alive, Jerry.
Ceiling Cat … Chinatown
Ceiling cat for lunch!? Sacrilecious!
I’m relieved that you added the custard tart to counteract the effects of that “miscellaneous stuff.”
That’s called “zongzi” (dsong-dsi, with a four tone on zong and a neutral tone for dsi), a Taiwanese specialty.
“My God, man! Can’t you see that this patient is sufferning from post-prandial lower abdominal distention?!?” (gas)

Someone broke the carrot.
Have you tried Ed’s Potsticker House at Halsted and 31st? Best goddamn Chinese food in Chicago if not North America. It’s northern food, which you don’t get very often here, but try the lamb with cumin, soup dumplings, ‘long pig’ dumplings, smoked pork wrapped in scallion pancake, pork belly with tofu, whole fish, etc.
