Why Evolution is True is a blog written by Jerry Coyne, centered on evolution and biology but also dealing with diverse topics like politics, culture, and cats.
Haha! Well we need the humor of misspelled “English only” signs, so to hell with Kinkos, it would proof them.
I fail to see any material in the video that should give Hallmark a legitimate copyright claim.
Yet another company to my boycott list I guess. Kinda hard sometime to keep a good list of unethical companies, but things like this really deserves it.
Whoops! Video gone.
No Hallmark cards for you this Christmas, Professor Coyne.
Yeah does Hallmark own some of these other companies or something? Crayola maybe? And… wouldn’t that trademark be permissible under the parody clause?
Seeming like any company can censor anything on these grounds. Just claim a violation, they’ll be too busy to look into it, much safer to just take it down. I call bs.
Yup. Both Hallmark and Youtube suck. I did download the video off “Funny or die” moments ago, using “FVD Suite” in Firefox.
Too bad am strapped for time, and not well-connected with uber video accounts to be suspended left and right, or I’d be reposting it all over tarnation.
Infidels! Thou shalt not sully the glorious name of Crayola!
Nay, theshortearedowl, ’tis Crayola that is the infidel heretic. All orthodox thinking people know that Texta is the One True Marker!
The Minuteman Project is also the proud sponsor of Silly Putty, Husky pencils and http://www.brandsonsale.com/child-binoculars.html.
I love this and re-posted the video on Facebook.
Sorry, I linked to YouTube also.
Bob can you give me a URL to the re-post? Hallmark has since taken the Youtube video down.
OOPS, wrong place.
Sorry, I linked to YouTube also.

The literacy at these types of rallies is pretty appalling. Or funny, depending on your point of view. Examples:

I think the “Another segment for Peace” sign is trying to be funny. (Segment as in line segment.)
I googled “halmark crayola”. Crayola is indeed owned by Hallmark.
