I read that Levar Burton attempted to rebrand the phenomenon as “consequence culture”.
I think the issue is the word “unless”. To meet the standards of the new woketivist orthodoxy it must be restated as “EVEN IF you repent your sins you will perish!”
That’s actually true. We will all perish eventually. Repenting sins won’t help. Perhaps you meant to say, “EVEN IF you repent your sins you will shortly perish at the hands of me and my woke friends!”
Yeah, except that the Elect will never perish but dwell forever in the house of the lord, who I suppose is Ibram x Kendi or Robin diAngelo.
Don’t scare me like that—when I saw the email header I thought that the *strip* had been cancelled!
