Note to readers

February 16, 2018 • 7:00 am

The increasing volume of email is making it hard for me to keep up with correspondence, and is even making me forget emails which need to be answered. I’d like to ask readers to please send me no more than one email per day, unless it involves correcting an error I made in a post, requesting a pdf or other file I’ve offered, or sending me wildlife photos. If you have some links you want me to look at—and I appreciate these—maybe collect them over two days or so and send them all at once, unless they deserve immediate attention.

Thanks
–Mgmt.

  1. I’m trying to keep it to one per week, and not a deluge. Sometimes there’s ephemera which needs to be jumped in, but….

I am grateful to PCC(E) for caring about His readers (Paws Be Upon Him)!

This is one of the most fun aspects of Why Evolution Is True – The Website! It isn’t a data dump.

  2. Which email address would you like readers to use to get in touch with you?
(sorry, if this information is somewhere on the website, I couldn’t find it).
    S.

      1. Exactly what I say when someone suggests the same to me!

(Not that I have problems at your level! Nonetheless I do have trouble staying on top of things, inbox-wise.)

  3. I error on the side of never emailing you unless it’s realllly important (which is a high bar).

I used to think there were maybe 100 readers and so email was light duty. Then I read you have 53,000 subscribers… ugh!

  4. With 53,612 subscribers, you are being quite generous with one email per day!! 🙂 Even if only 1% sent a message, it would take significant time to traipse through.

  5. I’m getting distracted by trying to work out what is on PCC’s blackboard. The mouse:cheese ratio is of obvious applicability, and there are obviously carbon monodeuterides (CH²) somewhere in the mix, along with the different oxidation states of vanadium on the desk. Milk-squared though … . I can’t work that one out.
