Here are the snow leopards and their prey!

From top left: a group of bharal (or Himalayan blue sheep), a Himalayan ibex, snow leopard 1, snow leopard 2. There is also a blob at about 4 o’clock of snow leopard 1 that is probably a rock, but if you squint, looks like a third cat…

  1. Thank you for the picture. There are still some snow leopards left in the Himalayas along with Blue Sheep and Ibex. Great outing.

  2. See? I also saw another one at about 3:00 from the anterior predator, and a fourth one sticking out of the bushes at about 7:00 from the anterior predator.
And if any of these were leopards y’all woulda’ been eaten, but I would have run away and survived.

  3. Prey was easy, as was the kitty in the lower left hand corner, but the other two or even three were difficult. Do snow leopards hunt in groups? I thought that only lions and -to a lesser degree- cheetahs did that.

    1. Right hand corner, since coming to South Africa I mix up left and right as the locals do. Problematic when asking for directions here.
