Thank you, this is the best. Our Oliver can’t figure it out, either, so during our long, long winters, we turn on youtube for him. Oliver is a mouser, not a birder, but he loves watching bird videos.

I suspect an individual malady as we have one cat who pays no attention and another who does. Even the one who does seems to be less over time.
Cobviously, one knew and the other is slowly learning. 😉

I expect it depends on the cat’s mood. One of mine got all wrapped up in a documentary on the luftwaffe last night.
I use a tablet. A few months ago, I showed some bird videos to my cat, Angel. She started demanding to see them by sitting beside me and hitting the screen with her paw, whenever I was using my device. I finally dug up my old tablet (smaller) & set her up with it.
Reminds me of my Tinker, who tried to catch the balls on the bowling shows my mother liked.
