1. Sitting here staring at my dad in ICU, this was a welcome diversion.

5. For some reason, the phrase “scruff the panda” made me think of the song “Shock the Monkey”, and I wanted to spread the misery around. (Maybe there could be a movie where Matthew Broderick rescues a bunch of pandas from a military test program…)
