There are quite a few videos on YouTube showing cats purporting to play ping-pong, but this one really does. Of course, he’s playing the net and is powerless to deal with corner shots to the left. . .

That cat plays much better ping pong than I do. Plays it longer too.

I only once played a serious game of ping pong, against a very fat girl. It was amazing – she didn’t seem to move very fast, but wherever I sent the ball, she was there. Massacred me. The surprise was not that I lost, but that she won without (apparently) any effort or ever having to run for the ball.
