The only reason I’m violating my principle to avoid personal attacks on Presidential candidates is because a.) this is a cat, and b.) it’s funny without being ad hominem.
Today’s a busy day for me, and there may be only one substantive post. It will be on the burkini ban in France.

There is more reason to hate Dick Cheney, but maybe the cat is too young to know about the Bush admin.
The second picture was of Bernie Sanders.
And what if he knew about Henry Kissinger?!
Chrissakes, Jerry, some procedures — vivisection, exposure to Nixon cabinet members — constitute animal cruelty per se.
Sorry. I was completely in the wrong there.
Cats are very smart.
Come November, let’s hope American voters are as smart as this cat!
Oh my Cat, that is so funny!
“Make America Grrr… owling Again!”
I suspect that it has mistaken Trump’s hair for another cat.
Nice.
According to the Simpsons it’s a d*g, so maybe the cat is not mistaken but recognize the real thing.
Very smart and wise Kitty.
It’s a funny video, but in all seriousness I suspect the cat was just losing patience with being repeatedly assaulted with a cell phone screen while trying to relax. The result might have been the same with any pictures on the screen presented in any order.
Awww, now you have to go all scientific on us!
I maintain that the other cat hypothesis has more evidence to support it and makes fewer assumptions. I assert that the Resemblance that Trump’s hair has to a scruffy ginger tom is irrefutable. Cats are known to have territorial disputes with other cats and these are well documented. I am not aware of any documented evidence of cats having territorial disputes with electronic devices.
That was my thought as well, but you beat me too it!
This was meant to be a response to Dr I. Needtob Athe’s comment above. If someone kept poking a phone in my face, I’d swat it no matter what the picture was.
Or it could be that the cat just recognizes an obnoxious jerk even when she sees a picture of one and just feels the impulsive need to slash at it and run away. Amusing anyhow!
Erin, Thought you might need a laugh! Love, Clay

I didn’t find it funny, I felt sad for the cat that was driven from its resting spot.
He’s not a bad Judge. lol
Cat knows a misshapen hairball when one gets coughed up.
