  1. I have a swivel office chair. Based on its position, my cat knows just how hard she needs to jump onto it to turn her around so she is facing me when I’m on my exercise bike.

    1. Or just jumped in the water. I’ve known a few retrievers who would’ve considered what the kitteh did an invitation to play in the water, not an escape.

      1. I forgot that I grew up with Irish Setters. For them, the phase transition between air and water was nonexistent.

    2. I didn’t get the impression that the dog was chasing particularly hard. I think it probably couldn’t be bothered. After all it could easily have run round to the other side of the pool if it was really committed to the chase.

  2. Love it ( and also your hearts and dog and mousie “quote” marks. ( is that a meta quote?)

    1. Not Matthew’s emoticons. I think they’re standard UNICODE emoticons, which in Tw*er’s screen display have fancy glyphs in the font(s) they use. For example, ☠ U+2620. Unfortunately, not everything on the UNICODE list is provided with a glyph. The list that can be incorporated into a Tw*er isn’t complete, though the story that Tw*er are trying to get a full Chinese & 10,000 character update to their code suggests they’re expanding their UNICODE support.

    1. Brilliant! I love it when Didga jumps the Rottweiler πŸ˜€ Much more dangerous than jumping a shark.
