The stock markets are jittery and I haven’t had enough coffee, so here’s a baby monkey playing with a cat.
[JAC note: I wrote my Hili post, which will follow this one, before I saw Matthew’s!]

That was no gif! Perhaps the stock markets have had too MUCH coffee!
That’s conscious enjoyment if I’ve ever seen it!
I was getting tired just watching the monkey. What a bundle of energy!
That video illustrates “the meaning of life” as well as anything could. As Kurt Vonnegut put it, “I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don’t let anybody tell you different.”
Be interesting to see how Baihu would get along with a monkey…but I rather doubt that’ll ever happen.

We had a kitteh, spider mon-keh, cocker spaniel, and goat when we lived in Martinique and they all played together, and with us kids, though the mon-keh was usually on a long chain to prevent him from wreaking havoc in our house, which was usually wide open. I have a photo somewhere of the mon-key riding the d*g.
It’s Tuesday in NZ, so clearly the planet will survive.
This could be me. A primate trying to get a felid to “play” while makng a monkey of itself and annoying the felid.
