Wednesday: Hili dialogue

March 25, 2015 • 4:48 am

It’s Wednesday, and today higher temperatures and rain come to Chicago and wash the traces of winter away for good—I hope. My squirrels are ravenous, and I hope to see babies soon.

Meanwhile in Dobrzyn, Hili has done something bad:

A: And what are you going to tell me, my darling?
Hili: You have to buy a new keyboard for yourself.
A: Why?
Hili: The old one is full of coffee.

In Polish:
Ja: No i co mi powiesz, kochanie?
Hili: Musisz sobie kupić nową klawiaturę.
Ja: Dlaczego?
Hili: W starej jest pełno kawy.
Bonus: Today’s xkcd (h/t Michael):

    1. Yeah, sugar is bad and dairy tends to leave a nasty residue. Hot chocolate pretty much kills electronics as it contains both. The worst I saw when I was in IT support was a pint of milk over a laptop. We couldn’t get a warranty repair on that one.

Keyboards can usually be rinsed & dried as mentioned above!

  1. I wish there was an inexpensive way to send keyboards to Poland – I have several. Let’s get that teleportation technology happening! 🙂

          1. You weren’t the only one to send in xkcd a tad late, further cluttering Jer’s mailbox.

    1. Damn, I should have scrolled down before sending that link to Jerry! Great minds…

      😀
