It’s Wednesday, and today higher temperatures and rain come to Chicago and wash the traces of winter away for good—I hope. My squirrels are ravenous, and I hope to see babies soon.
Meanwhile in Dobrzyn, Hili has done something bad:
A: And what are you going to tell me, my darling?
Hili: You have to buy a new keyboard for yourself.
A: Why?
Hili: The old one is full of coffee.

Ja: No i co mi powiesz, kochanie?
Hili: Musisz sobie kupić nową klawiaturę.
Ja: Dlaczego?
Hili: W starej jest pełno kawy.
Bonus: Today’s xkcd (h/t Michael):

It may well be rescuable – the keyboard… the worse thing is sugar…
I would rinse it, shake it outside, then put it in a bage with rice to absorb the remaining moisture… You could unscrew the back & do the same. Better to try that & save having to get a new one!http://www.explainthatstuff.com/computerkeyboards.html
I am sure that Hili is not the first or the last to have an accident! 😉
Yeah, sugar is bad and dairy tends to leave a nasty residue. Hot chocolate pretty much kills electronics as it contains both. The worst I saw when I was in IT support was a pint of milk over a laptop. We couldn’t get a warranty repair on that one.
Keyboards can usually be rinsed & dried as mentioned above!
Doesn’t the rice get into places you don’t want it to?
I wish there was an inexpensive way to send keyboards to Poland – I have several. Let’s get that teleportation technology happening! 🙂
Recycle or upcycle –

🙂
How can it be something “bad” if Hili did it?
( cf. Euthyphro )
Very funny!
The xkcd cartoon is subtle and subversive.
Republican squirrels.
If that’s the case they might be Second Amendment extremists: watch your nuts!
We have an entire Web site devoted to exactly that.

…and, sorry, Jerry, for emailing you the XKCD cartoon earlier today! I obviously need to learn to not put off the Hili dialogue this late in the day….
b&
You weren’t the only one to send in xkcd a tad late, further cluttering Jer’s mailbox.
The important thing is, when we think of squirrels, we think of Jerry.
Poor Hili, mis-gauging her girth perhaps?
I’m so glad Cyrus didn’t do this.
The squirrel makes a lot of sense…
Well, it’s up in the sky, it’s round, and this is support by analogy for the acorn theory:

Better evidence than most religious theories have, actually.
Damn, I should have scrolled down before sending that link to Jerry! Great minds…
😀
Theo wants in, Hili!! 🐈
Since the subject is carts behaving badly, then this link is perfect:

Here a spare keyboard is always at hand. Such problems can be solved in 30 seconds.
Shouldn’t Hili be blaming the d*g?
I think she’s blaming the coffee.
