      1. I use a Mac and I say Gif,
You use PC and you say Jiff.
        We hate using the bandwidth,
But WTF in the end with,
What’s the hell is the diff?

        1. But where you’ll find we have no tiff
Is over how to pronounce TIFF
I hope, since Gif’s lost out to PNG,
We’ll all agree PNG rhymes with “ring” … ?

  1. Curmudgeon, really?

    Synonyms
bear, bellyacher, complainer, crab, crank, croaker, crosspatch, grouch, fusser, griper, grouser, growler, grumbler, grump, murmurer, mutterer, sourpuss, whiner

“a curmudgeon is the crusty grey haired neighbor who refuses to hand out candy at Halloween and shoos away holiday carolers with a “bah humbug!””

I doubt Matthew ever said “bah humbug” πŸ˜‰

    1. Maybe it’s just because I am one, but I have the feeling that “curmudgeon” has taken on an endearing quality not captured in that list of negative synonyms. It’s what you might, perhaps in jest, call a friend who’s occasionally grumpy and irritable, or what you might even call yourself.

        1. I’ll check that out. I sometimes call my Border Collie, Deets, a curmudgeon because he doesn’t like to be fussed over like a lap d*g.

          1. My gigantic dog acts like a cat. I sometimes call her “kitty” & meow at her. If you’re working on a laptop, she’ll come over & lay her head & her full weight across your arms. She will also wipe all over you and jump on the bed to wake you up though she often licks me in the face to do so & it makes me feel like I’m being water boarded.

          2. Awwww to all the stuff, except the waterboarding! πŸ™‚ Our departed cat used to do a version of that. I miss our old dogs. Our old kitty torments me by the incessant touching, especially when I’m trying to sleep at 4am.

    2. It could also be that time spent in Paris… I am told Parisians have a certain… reputation!

  2. I would love to know what he yells at you. Also, I just realized that a small square of facial hair in the midline below the lower lip is socially acceptable, but above the upper lip is absolutely not.

  3. The Siamese cats are so the attention wanter like mine is.It’s all about them all the time. They are sweet though and cudily now the fact that i can sit here and type means she is sleeping somewhere.
