My iPhone informs me that it’s 19° F outside (-7 °C): positively tropical! Meanwhile in Dobrazyn, Hili is contemplating a swat, for apparently Sarah waved her hand to get Hili to assume a photogenic pose. She assumed the “pre-pounce” pose.
Hili: I’m looking for the right response.
A: To what?
Hili: To your aggressive hand waving.(Photo: Sarah Lawson)
In Polish:
Hili: Szukam właściwej odpowiedzi.
Ja: Na co?
Hili: Na twoje agresywne machanie ręką.(Zdjęcie: Sarah Lawson)

I don’t speak Polish so I am not sure what you are saying. However my cat “Alice” sometimes considers reacting aggressively to aggressive hand waving.
She too hopes to become a Ceiling Cat someday.
It is -12C here. I think it is supposed to get colder next week. 🙁
Sigh… I know. I’m so ready for spring.
Swat!
Hili is so pretty.
It seems as though Hili has been talking to Sarah a lot these last few days, yet the dialogue always has her talking to “A.” I’m beginning to think that A stands for Aide.
Oooh — patty-cake! One of the best games cats and humans can play.
First and foremost, accept ahead of time that you’re going to come away with scratches like what you’d get from going blackberrying and you’ll have a great time.
The goal is to “tag” the opponent without your opponent tagging you. Just a light tap to the top of the paw or the shoulder or the head is what you’re looking for. For maximum points (in all senses of the word), you can go for the belly (or upper chest), in which case the goal is to actually reach the target…because, with that move, you’re definitely going to get tagged yourself.
The game should only be attempted with a young kitten or a cat who knows you and knows that you’re playing, not fighting, that you’d never do anything dangerous, and that you’re not going to retaliate even if the cat accidentally gets excessively exuberant.
Cheers,
