Another damn week is here (actually, it started yesterday) and it snowed last night. So we all go back to work, including Hili:
Hili: Monday.A: So what?Hili: I have to go hunting again.
In Polish:
Hili: Poniedziałek.
Ja: No i co z tego?
Hili: Znowu muszę iść na polowanie.

“Another damn week is here ” – but this is life! 🙂
By the way, has anyone read the new book by Lee Smolin & Roberto Unger?
The Singular Universe and the Reality of Time

He does sound like someone who does not like determinism… there was a review in the Sunday Times last week.

Is that a tasty, tasty basket of walnuts behind Hili? I was lamenting recently that we don’t have enough nuts in the shell available outside of the Xmas season. I like eating them because they are good for you, tasty and cracking them takes time so you don’t overdo it.
Yes, Andrzej and Malgorzata have walnut trees, and there’s always a basket of walnuts around. Malgorzata cracks and grinds them to make a fantastic walnut-based crust for her pies.
Dad makes a walnut crust for his cheesecake. I can’t imagine anything else.
It would be awesome to have a tree. Ideally, even, a black walnut tree….

There are nut allergies in my house so I have to get my fix on the street. One big advantage of ordering a nutty dessert: I don’t have to share!
There are some nuts that I’m rather allergic to, myself…but I don’t have any desire to seek them out….

Yeah that link should have come with a warning label. Now I need to poach some of my daughters’ Zyrtec eye drops.
There. Are. Four. Links!

Well, we could all take a lesson from Hili about shouldering our responsibilities.
Or not.
(Ben will just shoulder Baihu.)
Hey! I resemble that parenthetical remark….
