It would be the Lord’s Day if there were a Lord, but there’s no church for Hili today. In fact, she can’t even go outside, but still shows little gratitude for having been kept dry and warm. And yes, she looks a bit . . . fluffy:

I just got inside because my dog dropped her toy near poop and won’t pick up anything near poop. So when I asked her to get her toy she looked at me for help & kept whining sadly in a way that almost sounded like a cry.
I wish our Shih Tzu were like that. He would read the situation as “Look! My toy is next to a tasty snack!” Gah!
We got a gorgeous new rescue cat yesterday and she is confined to quarters in the guest bedroom for assimilation and pending introduction to The Cat in Charge. I can confirm cats do not like being told what they may not do.
PCC may be getting a pic of this one soon: she is cream-colored with Amber tips on her ears and tail and my daughters have named her “Honey Pie.” She had a litter of kittens before being rescued and “fixed,” so she has this adorable habit of carrying balled-up socks around like babies and arranging them by her bed.
Congrats! Here’s hoping the introductions go smoothly and are over quickly.
