The good news is that I am not hung over this morning. The bad news is that there was apparently an animal altercation in Dobrzyn. Look at Hili’s bushed-out tail!

Oh my! I hope Hili is OK. Is that really how it happened? Did Hili start the trouble? It took so long for them to get used to each other I hope this wasn’t a serious setback. I’ve witnessed cats bully d*gs in the past and it’s mostly just comedic to see the bigger animal get pushed around by the smaller one.
Well, yes, it did happen but it wasn’t very serious. Cyrus and Hili were outside and came back to the house, running directly to the kitchen. Cyrus was so eager that he accidentally pushed Hili and he got a paw right into his face. He looked a bit surprised but that was all. After eating they happily placed themselves together on the sofa.
Cyrus is a gentleman for not reacting to the paw.

I really enjoy hearing about Hili and Cyrus, Malgorzata. Good to know that this was just a minor dust-up. A very admirable job you and Andrzej have done, bringing these two entities together.

I used to have a cat whose tail would really bush up when in defense mode, so enlarged that it seemed disproportionate even for a riled-up cat. It made us laugh — which was excusable because Byron was a house cat with an easy life whose stress was infrequently provoked by things like vacuum cleaners and unexpected stuffed animals.
Who ever expects a stuffed animal?
Only the Spanish Inquisition does, I’m sure.
