Another week has gone by already, and the good Professor has a nasty cold from traveling. But we must persist. Meanwhile, in Dobrzyn, Cyrus wants to nip Hili’s bum for insolence!
Hili: I’m afraid that if you would like to read Cyrus will be an obstacle.Cyrus: May I gently bite her behind?
In Polish:
Hili: Obawiam się, że gdybyś chciał poczytać, to ci Cyrus będzie przeszkadzał.
Cyrus: Czy mogę ją delikatnie ugryźć w tyłek?

Feel better soon my olé friend.
Flying does it – all that air recycled again & again in the aeroplane cannot but mean that you have more opportunity to pick up the latest batch of lurgi!
PS remember that the clocks change for you in the US! Does this mean that you have two hours more of life…?!
PPS I think it is your duty to spread the cold to as many undergraduates as possible!
No, I love undergraduates – really!
😉
It amazes me that anyone ever gets off a plane without the flu.
I always get sick when I travel. I distinctly remember having a bad cold when I was at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney and what sucked was it was uncharacteristicly hot for the time of year.
I also remember having a bad cold in Boston but desperately wanting to see Old Ironside so I was sick and I the freezing cold there.
I woke up with a bit of a cold today too. When I took out my contacts at the eye doctor’s a couple of days ago, the staff chastised me for not washing my hands first and & said, “Meh, I’m 44 and it hasn’t hurt me since”. Maybe my cold is the punishment though I doubt it as I was already sneezing & they were giving me a hard time about infections. However, I usually wash my hands and the contacts go into saline plus I use daily disposable contacts. I’ve never had an eye infection.
Cyrus & Hili look cute & snuggly!
