Why Evolution is True is a blog written by Jerry Coyne, centered on evolution and biology but also dealing with diverse topics like politics, culture, and cats.
There’s something unnerving and disturbing about that.
Time to change the furnace filter.
My first thought was “major shedding.”
At certain times of year, my cat literally walks around in a cloud of cat hair, kind of like the Peanuts character Pig-Pen.

Nightjars are better. They can’t be seen.
We seem to have conservation of shedding in this house. When the dog’s not shedding the cat is, and vice versa…
