It’s Friday! Which seat can you take? And, in Poland, it’s mid-afternoon, where Editor-in-Chief Hili learns how onerous her duties will be:
Hili: What are the duties of the editor-in-chief besides sitting in this armchair?
A: She is supposed to purr with contentment.
In Polish:
Hili: Jakie jeszcze obowiązki ma redaktor naczelna, oprócz siedzenia na tym fotelu?
Ja: Ma mruczeć z zadowolenia.
Onerous duties indeed. Being a cat, anything is within EIC Hili’s purr-view.
Hili contacted me telepathically, said that she would be able to purr contentedly all day long if her cream/ice cream rations were increased. 🙂
On the subject of Poland, I finally made it to Best of Europe Meats and Deli yesterday evening (on my way to the Scottsdale Philharmonic rehearsal) before closing (a bare two minutes!) with plenty of cash (they don’t take plastic). I brought home lots of sausages for me and Mom and Dad, plus a loaf of some sort of quite good poppy-seed-filled variation on challah.
