Thanks Jerry. Love it. The woman snorting ~ Everything.
Why Sunday though?
Probably an attempt to foil PZ and his “anti-caturday” posts.
Jet lag?
Hah! — that’s nothing.
Some of us spend our entire working lives on a treadmill….

It’s not as much fun as this one, though.
Jane!! Stop this crazy thing!!
I never did see the point of exercise treadmills, aside from medical evaluation and special ones for rehab.
I mean, what’s the point of running and going nowhere?
Same thing with exercise bikes…..

Bravo. To your list I would add:
Alcohol-free beer
Decaffeinated coffee &
Playing poker for matchsticks
That reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from the Simpsons. Homer briefly gets a new job that has all the perks, including an exercise room. Homer and his boss are talking while walking on a treadmill. They get off the treadmill and onto a moving sidewalk.
Has Jerry ever shown my FAVORITE cat video of ALL TIME? Here it is:

Been in my YT favorites for almost two years.
To me, it never gets old. Sooo cute.
That’s hilarious! Bet he wouldn’t like a bath though…
Yes, and he called this kitteh dumb. 🙁
Made me giggle out loud.
Cute. My cat will put her head under a water stream but I can’t imagine her being interested in a treadmill.
Any thoughts regarding why she does that?
In the video the stream of water is very fast & I thought (maybe) it’s easier for the videokitty to drink from her own fur
I believe we had this discussion about this here some time ago.
I think this kitteh just likes it. The pressure of the stream probably feels good. Most cats love to be rubbed between the ears and this one’s found a novel way to do it. I’ll bet the drinking is just a side benefit.
I had a cat that preferred to drink from the faucet. I wouldn’t let it run this long or fast though. Funny thing was that she was my worst cat to bathe. She’d go from a pleasant Dr Jekyll to a horrible Mr Hyde whenever I tried.
Love this one Jerry. The “commentary” on the video is great too.
Sounds reasonable
More pictures on your internetz please ~ I loved the flowers
Garfield isn’t convinced.
Pisses me off that they kept speeding it up.
You know who else likes to play on treadmills? Little kids. They just climb on and ride, but they’ll keep it up as long as the adults laugh or express alarm.
When I was a child one of the best thrills was stairways. You could roll down them, or climb over or along or slide down the railing.
Ben Goren,

A lot of us don’t live in beautiful climates all year round. A treadmill can be much more comfortable to exercise on, in actual gym clothes, rather than trying to make your way through tons of snow (in the winter…or just frickin’ cold other times).
Also, while I do a lot of outdoor walking and riding, I also love having an exercise bike as well. Sometimes it’s great to be able to read a book, or with the iPad surf the net or watch videos, while exercising at the same time.

My son played on the rented treadmill when he was about 18 months old. Briefly. Put his hand on the belt where it goes under at the trailing end, and it got wedged in. There was a smell of burning, and the surgeon who did the skin grafts was very good. Two of the three grafts took, and his hand works perfectly, though we expect a little ribbing about hair on the palms when he’s older.
Dangerous toys, not suitable for children and animals. Really.
