A professor at an accredited university wrote this? Did the English department TA’s haul out their red pens? The proper grammar for that clause is: “We have holes in evolution through which one can drive a semi-truck.”
Leave aside the weak arguments this man presents, the poor presentation of those arguments alone should earn a bright red D minus.
