At Botany Pond yesterday, I met a woman who, after she found out I taught evolution, told me that evolution was a fiction because it couldn’t explain where everything came from in the first place. Then she asked me if I’d studied the Bible. I told her I actuall read the Bible (how many atheist scientists have done that?), and she said, “No, I mean really studied it.” I told her to read my book Faith Versus Fact and politely made my farewells.
But I digress; here the boys attempt (but fail) to reconcile science and religion.
God told me that she loves atheists the best.
