Ah!
There WERE two!
Way apart too – good one!
Saw the legs on one, but have to take your word on the second one’s spots.
I saw the first one, but wasn’t sure. I didn’t see the second one at all.
Look at the center of the right circle; you will see white spots on a brown background. Those are the fawn’s spots.
I spotted both. I don’t think it is their camouflage that makes them difficult to spot. The foliage makes it difficult for me to spot the one on the right. The other one stood out.
I wouldn’t have spotted them but my eyesight isn’t quite as good as it used to be.
Oh, my. It’s a case of false ID. I imagined fawns where there weren’t any and missed the real ones completely. Yikes!
Must’ve been the acid I put in my coffee.
