Little trick that helps : zoom in and out a tiny amount continuously – I only figured that out today.
Didn’t Yosemite Sam refer to them as ‘horney toads’?

I’m a big fan of the horned lizards; around here it’s the Desert horned lizard, Phrynosoma platyrhinos (translation: flat-nosed toad-body), but I also have some experience with 3 other species. They’re fascinating in every aspect of their biology and also endearing and sometimes comical to watch.
Alas, they do poorly in proximity to humankind. A single outdoor or feral cat can clean out a neighborhood in a couple of months tops.
A subadult. The horns are a lot longer (proportionately) in adults.
